• When should I book my doula?

                You can book your doula at any time during your pregnancy or even after having your baby , as you may feel you need some help after all! 

 Thats fine, I am flexible so give me a call.

• Can someone else book you for me?

                 Yes, there are gift vouchers available as many relatives or friends find the gift of practical help particularly helpful.

• Are Doulas medically trained?

                No, we have no medical training and I will always refer you to a medical    professional, midwife/health visitor or doctor if the need arises

•   Are you a birth Doula?

               Not at the moment I only offer postnatal support solely due to my family commitments. Please contact me for more details on my doula services in Winchester, Hampshire.

• How can I check if the doula I want to use is a qualified Doula?

              You can go to the fedant web site where you can see that I am a    registered Doula my number is 11969 and that I am insured. 

                 You can  also contact baby on Board Doulas (www.babyonboarddoulas.co.uk) with whom I completed the Doula course.

•  Do other family members benefit from a Doula being around?

                    Yes dads often have questions of their own and also need reassurance and guidence, see my page on dads.
